Product Design

Restyling

At Utrecht University, the students, together with Sodexo, want to take the food plan to a higher level. Therefore Future Food Lab has been developed to handle food as circularly as possible.

Via vandeReclame I developed the style (logo, signing, decoration, etc.) for this platform from scratch.

Etos display

Together with Impact Displays, I took care of the rebranding of drugstore chain Etos. More specifically, I redesigned the in-store make-up displays, as research suggested that it would drastically improve the customer image of the brand.

I based my design on the bright spots of the existing design, customer-centred insights, the new brand DNA and the display construction.

SeDia

The company EasyLiving produces special devices and product for people with physical disabilities. I was asked to help them with the redesign of their shower chair.

EasyLiving’s previous shower chair had assembly problems and the materials deteriorated quickly. The new design is easier in assembling as it consists of fewer parts, its materials are more durable and the chair can now be used single-handedly.

Vitrum

Verkerk Groep is a modern electrical engineering company that is specialised in electro-technical services. In their product line for nursing homes, they offer a portable alarm transmitter. Unfortunately, the users had some complaints about the user-friendliness of the old device.

With the help of the company and the users, I developed Vitrum. Thanks to the user-centred design, the new device is guaranteed to improve the safety of its users.
